  • My husband and I went to this dealership with low expectations you know car dealership, sales people lots of BS, but not here. There is a great General Manager and his name is Larry Spencer. With his help and a super sales person (Todd Cross) we got a car and mother and father got one to. He is a nice and honest man, lets you know the best he can do, and can he make deals. So if you need a nice used or new car this is your place. Mr. Lokey has a great team and he should be proud. And Subaru's are a great. And he even invited us to eat (Olive Garden), he even makes you feel like car shopping isn't that bad.
  • I bought a 2012 Outback from Subaru Port Richey. I used Edmonds to get a price quote. The Internet Manager Ric Stocker did a great job answered all my questions and got me the exact car I wanted. I would have to say the best car buying experience I have ever had. To top it all off they gave me a Lifetime Warranty. I would recomend them.

  • NO ONE I know looks forward to purchasing a car. We felt the same way. After dealing with other dealerships in our area, we drove up to Lokey Subaru hoping to avoid what felt like the phoney "sales" pitches given by others. We were not only surprised, but DELIGHTED to meet our sales person, Todd Cross. Todd was straight forward, fair, honest and seemed as interested in making us happy as he was in making a sale. He was patient as we navigated which Subaru we would be purchasing, eager to point out the good points in the cars we chose to test drive, as well as suggesting others that might better suit our needs. We own a local business and needed a vehicle to serve our varied needs. He pointed out the additional room in the Outback which is why we chose that vehicle from the one we thought we wanted. Todd was professional, super friendly in an AUTHENTIC way and pulled no punches in pricing by treating us fairly, Once we made the decision, he followed the deal to the very end as we chose to have leather installed in a vehicle with cloth seats. He stayed in constant contact until the leather was in, even staying in touch with the professionals who expertly installed the butter smooth leather. Todd even made certain the leather color was PERFECT and it is. We could NOT be more satisfied with this dealership and suggest you give it a try BEFORE the others.   • The team at Subaru Port Richey went above and beyond to gain us as a customer. We drove 2 hrs to see a vehicle and they were ready for us when we arrived. Vehicle was up front and ready for a test drive. I went to multiple other dealers for the same vehicle and non of them even pulled the vehicle from the lot for us.   • Went there to have the rattle coming from the engine compartment looked at. Since I had a major work done on my car recently, it turned out that was the result of some loose part that needed adjustment. The shop fixed this free of charge and apologized for the inconvenience. No problem at all guys! It is always a pleasure for me to go there. I love Subaru Port Richey. I am glad it was only a loose heat shield.

Reaching out on the internet, Lokey was the first to contact us, so we went for a one hour trip and came home with a beautiful Outback! ❤️ From the Internet Representative to Delivery, GREAT! Our Sales Associate (hers and his autos), Tony Stout, was AWESOME! One week later, we went back to Tony for my Wife's car, a GORGEOUS Legacy! ❤️ Paperwork was pretty smooth, a little long, but okay and personable F&I Staff. I tried to review on emailed site, to no avail, so I post on Google Maps.

  • Bought a well cared for pre-owned vehicle after contacting its previous owner. Advertised price was very reasonable except for the unadvertised extra dealer's costs presented later. As expected, those extra costs were attributed to various in-house "charges", but in the end they were negotiable. The dealership was willing to negotiate to save the sale rather than for this buyer to simply walk away, so the final price was good. Went to lunch before signing while the dealer performed a promised minor repair. The paperwork was extensive, but unnecessary documents were weeded out and not signed. This dealer does not use electronically-signed sale contracts, which provided a better opportunity to read documents before signing. General Manager Larry S. was very accommodating and other associates Tony S. and Chris B. were great to deal with, too. Everything promised with the sale was delivered. As a presently satisfied buyer I expect to be back.

If you do visit ask for Troy in sales, he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to do everything he could.   • Awesome customer service and a great selection of vehicles. We initially made contact with Lou from the internet sales. We were fortunate to have Jesse for our sales representative. Jesse was extremely helpful and tech savvy. He is not the stereo typical pushy salesman. He knew we were interested in a vehicle, provided us all the information we required about the vehicle and advised us to let him know if we were still interested in the vehicle. If it weren't for his professionalism, we would still be car shopping today. This dealership was great. All the employees were courteous and friendly.

  • Chris Hughes is by far the most down to earth guy. He helped my father get a 2015 Prius that he absolutely loves. This review is to really put Chris in his light. My father first reached out via phone and spoke to Troy who assisted us and got us going. When we arrived though I guess Troy had been moved to a different department and had passed this off to Chris. The car my father originally looked at was an older car and unfortunately Troy did not communicate this to Chris that he just took the initiative to put a pricier and newer car instead. This part of the story shortened I feel bad that Troy gets half the credit for this because wow did Chris really hook it up and make us feel like family. He spend a good amount of time making sure the car and price point hit my father's budget. All in all we think Chris deserves a bigger cut of this deal than Troy 😉 Even the finance dude Phil was super helpful in making the price work. The employees working here have a much more humble vibe than any dealership I've gone to from the west coast to the east coast. Thanks Chris! Really Really loving the new whip!

  • I want to thank LARRY and his entire STAFF. These people helped me in my most difficult time. My SUV was totally destroyed by Paladin Auto Services and was charged close to 2,000 dollars leaving me with no money or transportation for me and my 8 month old baby. The Lokey Subaru team took it upon themselves to fix my SUV and lend me a vehicle to get around with my baby. They are absolutely AMAZING. They didn't charge me anything and fixed my Nissan Pathfinder. They are truly miracle workers. There's no words to describe how much i appreciate everything they did for me and my baby. They gave me a better trade in value than another dealership and worked with me to find the price that made me feel comfortable. Christopher made it feel like I was in charge of the whole experience and I never once felt pressured. He took me through every step of the buying process and made sure all my questions were answered thoroughly before moving on to the next step. He even made sure that I was aware of every refund I was due on previous warranty and insurance purchases (I definitely wasn’t aware of) which was a huge bonus. I came in for service even though I purchased my vehicle elsewhere, Spencer was very nice and friendly upon my arrival and got my Subaru in and out within no time. Kudos to that service department.   • I have always been weary of taking my car to a dealership for service but given that it was the only one with a good reputation open on a Saturday, I decided to go. Can definitely say I don’t regret it one bit. They were about the same price as if I went anywhere else but the service was extraordinary. I am not sure the name of the guys working on my car but they were great about getting things in and out, as well as physically showing me the parts that needed to be change and explaining why. Joe was also awesome! He was super friendly throughout the entire process and helped go over the checkpoint sheet with me. I will definitely be back for any future repairs!

  • Not many car dealers get a 5. We had a really good experience. Started online with Sheryl who helped identify the vehicle and price. On site we worked with Chris Hughes. He was very patient and provided insight throughout the process. We drove a few different vehicles and ended up with the first one. It was a barely used 2020 Rogue. It was detailed and gassed up for us by the time financing was done. I truly hate the finance experience, but this one was quick and not too hard a sell on the warranties and extras...and my wife was ready to take Harrison, the site rescue dog, home. Good experience and good atmosphere.

  • While it has been some time since car shopping (and we've made it a point to shop when we 'want', not when we 'need') but I must say our experience at Subaru of Port Richey (FL) (part of the Lokey group) was second to none. After doing my research and speaking with Roy of sales, you could say our real experience started Christmas Eve. With our Son home from FSU our intent (as he thought) was to only to take a test drive, but with it nearing closing time, Mark (the sales manager) offered we take the vehicle till the 26th. A good 3 day test drive later, we returned the vehicle and said thank you. Do understand, this was to be a surprise for our Son, a (pre)graduation gift if you like, as he prepares to continue his Medical education. Days later, negotiating back and forth (we'd be trading his 2013 Cpo MB C-250 P2 Sports coupe [also a gift for his getting early acceptance & in to their Honors Program]), and with each side making some compromise, my wife & I and Mark agreed on the terms ... but with our Son now back at school (Tallahassee is 220 miles north), we'd need to take their vehicle, and come back two days later with our trade, and that too Mark agreed to. Needless to say, our Son was quite surprised. Perhaps a bit wordy, but being in sales myself, I though the full story would be appreciated to show just how much a car dealership's staff can actually care.

  • One of the best dealerships I've ever dealt with! We drove two and a half hours to look at a vehicle and told them we are bringing along children and needed to get in and get out. They stuck to their word as well as the out the door price they had promised. When we paid in cash we apparently overpaid them and they called the next morning to let us know that they would be sending us a check for the overpayment. Even though it was $20 they still showed true honesty. We would highly recommend this dealership!

I did a good amount of research on the vehicle I was going to purchase before coming, but Roy Faulkner in Sales was very easy to work with throughout the process.   • I just bought a new car last week. Of which I am happy with my purchase and deal but I drove up there to get service(alignment) and tire sensor was on when I got it back. Service guy added air and said it could be a nail but never checked. I live an hour away and on the way home I got a flat. Long story short it was a fiasco. The grounds of the service area are pretty rough and should be cleaned up to prevent this. Also got my tint done there. Guy was nice and it is done well but it's just too dark. You all should have swatches of color to show as there was nothing to really go by and I don't feel like the guy understood as far as what kind if tint I wanted. Thanks

  • Great Service Experience! I brought my 2014 Subaru Impreza in for diagnostics of a gas smell and steering controls not functioning. From the first service call to the last check out it was a great experience! They have a $65 / 30 minute diagnostic and $135 / hr rate which is applied toward repairs if you go with them. They were able to fix the gas smell and get my cruise control working again same day. VERY pleased with the experience!

Last week Brett, Service Manager made my appt which was yesterday for my oil change and my windows to be tinted. Brett was very professional and customer friendly. His team followed suit. Craig was wonderful and a huge help, Kurt did an amazing job and gave us everything we wanted and more, Nicole in financing did an amazing job and got the interest rate down way more than we expected. Definitely the type of experience you want when purchasing a new car! She absolutely loves it and is already so comfortable driving it!
